Join us on Monday, January 25, 2025, as we celebrate our history. The Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration is presented by our Youth Alive Program.

The March
Join us as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the legacy he has left behind!​

On Monday, January 20, 2025, we will kick off our celebration with a ceremony on our town's square.
​
Meet us on the square at 10:30 am, where we will recognize our youth. Following the recognition, we will have a wreath laying ceremony.
​
At 11:00 am, we will begin our march which will start at the Upson County Courthouse on E. Gordon Street, traveling down to make a left turn onto S. Bethel Street, traveling to the Five Way Stop where will make a right onto E. Main Street and end at Upson-Lee Middle School at
101 Holston Drive, where we will have our MLK Day Program.

The Program
We are excited that immediately following The March, we will have our MLK Day Program.
​
This Program, which will take place inside of the gymnasium at Upson-Lee Middle School, is geared towards our youth and will begin at 12:00 pm.
​
